Monsters in the Zeitgeist by Ariel Stich.

ย

Growing up in the desert southwest, campfires and scary stories are just a part of the scenery. Native tales are told and retold to shape the behaviors of a community, and keep the kids indoors after darkโ€ฆ

In recognition of the spooky season this week's DD will take a look at the shared monsters of the past and the new monsters in today's global society and ask us to reflect on the value of the 'scary story' and how it can help us navigate in uncertainty.
