Karma, Drama, and Dharma by Geoff Marlow.
Â
Over 2,000 years, Christianity has so far spawned more than 45,000 branches. It’s therefore not surprising that the wisdom tradition that emerged in the Indus Valley 4,000-8,000 years ago has no single coherent, universal set of beliefs, philosophies, and practices.
In fact, the widely diverse and often conflicting collection of Indian philosophical perspectives on life, the universe, and everything was first grouped together under the name “Hinduism” by 18th century British colonial powers.
Western philosophy, especially emerging from Germany, has drawn to its pool of knowledge from this vast ocean of theory and practice.
Over the past 35 years, Geoff’s professional focus on helping organisations throughout Europe, Asia and the US create future-fit cultures of innovation, agility, and adaptiveness has been informed by various insights and inspirations from his personal study and practice of ancient wisdom from the Indian subcontinent.
In this week’s DD, titled “Karma, Drama, and Dharma”, Geoff will offer a taste of the power, depth, and relevance of Indian philosophy, cosmology, and mythology.
