Dance Me Through the Panic by Tiffany Zamot.

Dance, lived experience, IFS, OH MY!

This week’s installment of Dialogic Drinks, we’ll be using Tango as a metaphor to showcase how parts get squeezed into playing a handful of different roles both internally & externally. Starting with the mapping of a system, we’ll move from a discussion around an exiled part to how that exposed exile can bring about a systems’ more protective parts in the most dramatic ways.

If you’ve got an interest in learning about the Internal Family Systems (IFS) model of transformation founded by Dr. Richard “Dick” Schwartz, much of what will be shared comes from his bestselling book, No Bad Parts.

As a follow-on to the presentation “Ode to Cognitive Dissonance”, we’ll be further exploring personal experiences which came after October 2022. How exposing oneself without getting permission from the body’s protective agents can wreak havoc in one’s daily life & what that looks like through the lens of lived experience.

Trigger Warning: Personal share about early childhood abuse.

Tiffany Zamot biography

Tiffany has a funny way of breathing life into the authentic expression of humans. This begins with creating an environment of joyous curiosity & unapologetic imagination while approaching the most arduous quandaries with Playfully Serious care.

Creative Thinking Partner Tiffany Zamot prefers an immersive approach to synergy & change projects. Imagine the inherent value being deeply connected & what unknown potential may come from nurturing genuine goodness in the world.

Much of Tiffany’s professional experience working across industries (supporting C-Suite, managers & departments; civic leaders, foreign dignitaries & the wider community) has demonstrated the relational issues & celebrations we experientially share are similar regardless of domain. She has integrated this wisdom into her own whimsical brand of adventure in Learning & Leadership Development.

Want to wander around for a moment in Tiffany’s mind palace? She’s presently engaged in a sort of pivot pilgrimage & finds herself musing around philosophical topics such as: who am I? What’s my worth? And what *real* contribution am I here to make? Come now & freely associate through the kaleidoscopic window pane of confidence. Perhaps you’ll stumble upon something you’ve never quite really seen that way before.
